Student stabbed at Houston ISD’s Sterling High School; campus placed on lockdown



HOUSTON – A student has been stabbed at a Houston Independent School District high school, the district confirms.

A struggle between two students broke out shortly after 10 a.m. where a student was stabbed.

The injured student was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition, authorities said and the other student was detained.

The campus was placed in lockdown mode.

Students who want to be picked up early will be transported to the Sunrise Center once lockdown is lifted.

This is the second campus in the Houston area that has been placed on lockdown.
